8/21 – 23 –  Greek FestivalColorado Springs – Sponsored by Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, this weekend event is filled with food, fun, and frivolity. Sample menu items from gyros, spanakopita, stuffed grape leaves and more all of which can be prepared for takeout. Purchase greek souveniers from clothing to jewelry, vases and paintings amongst other items. And don’t miss the Greek Dancers! With five performances throughout the weekend

8/21 – 23 – Gunnison Car Show & High Octane Arts & Crafts FestivalGunnison – The weekend event includes a cruise-in, a free street dance on Gunnison’s Main Street, an open car show, poker run, and breakfast cruise to Crested Butte. The theme “Cool Cars. Cool Mountains.” celebrates the combination of Gunnison’s comfortable August temperatures and the many custom and collector cars on exhibit. Browse arts in the park, and watch artisitic chainsaw maestros as they transform huge logs into public works of arts.,

8/21 – 22 – Mountain Town Music FestivalKeystone – Free live music from national acts and the harvest season for our colorful state. Come spend the weekend in Colorado’s high country and celebrate the waning of summer and squeeze in that one last mountain adventure before the aspens start to turn their golden hues. National acts grace the River Run Village stage and local food vendors will line the streets concocting their best peach recipes for you to enjoy. Free live music concerts from Mosey West, Miner, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, David Wax Museum and more!  

8/22 – Boulder Craft Beer Festival Boulder – Enjoy unlimited 2oz pours of each breweries unique libations. Ticket prices are $30 in advance and can be purchased online at The ticket price includes unlimited samples, a commemorative sampling glass and tasty snacks. Food trucks will also be on site (for purchase). All attendees are urged to taste responsibly. No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to sample.

8/22 – Southwest Colorado Food, Wine & Art FestivalCortez – Winemaker’s dinner Friday evening– four-course gourmet meal, accompanied by Colorado Wines. Sample and purchase wines on Saturday from local and regional Colorado wineries, enjoy live music, local cheeses, breads and olive oils, fine art and food.

8/22Spirit Lake Blues FestivalGrand Lake –  “The Spirit Lake Blues at Grand Lake,” to the lake front of Colorado’s largest natural lake from 11- 7 pm on Saturday, August 22nd. This festival will feature national acts including: headliner Ana Popovic, My Blue Sky, Austin Young with Michaela Rae, John Weeks Band, The Symbols and Cary Morin.

Thru 8/22Winter Park UncorkedWinter Park – There couldn’t be a more spectacular venue than Winter Park’s downtown Hideaway Park for wine sipping and music listening! 8/22 – 23 – 49th Annual Fine Arts FestivalEvergreen – The Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday August 22-23rd, 2015 in the creative district of Evergreen, Colorado. The Artists have submitted their applications. The jurying is now in progress to choose the 2015 artists.

8/28 – 30 –  Handmade in Colorado ExpoEstes Park – The 7th annual Handmade in Colorado Expo is a showcase of some of Colorado’s Best Handmade Arts, Crafts, Food, and Goods. All merchandise displayed at this juried show is handmade in Colorado and sold direct by the artist or crafter. Representing a wide range of media. All work sold will be created from both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado. This event is designed for Locavores as customers will only find Colorado made items.


Thru – 9/25Downtown Grand Junction Farmer’s MarketGrandJunction -Every Thursday evening June through September, celebrate the Grand Valley harvest with summertime’s signature event in Grand Junction. The Downtown Farmers Market Festival features the freshest produce, high-quality handcrafted items, specialty shops and exciting entertainment!
