3/15-25 – 19th Annual Bud Light Spring Jam – Snowmass, Aspen – 2 weeks of competitions, downtown concerts and parties to Aspen Snowmass. This will mark the 5th year of the Banked Slalom snowboard race at Buttermilk, the 19th year of the KickAspen Big Air at Aspen Mountain and the return of the Colorado Collegiate Freeride Championships at Snowmass.
3/22-24 – 45th Annual Denver March Powwow – Denver Coliseum, Denver – The Denver March Powwow features more than 1,600 dancers from nearly 100 tribes from 38 states and three Canadian provinces. The three-day event is packed with singing, dancing, storytelling, food and art.
3/23-24 – 18th Annual Spring Holistic Fair – Loveland – Experience healing modalities, and have an intuitive reading. Shop with creative vendors, and unique artisans. Enjoy free hourly lectures and register for exciting door prizes!
3/27-31 – Denver Auto Show – Co. Convention Center, Denver – Showcasing the newest model year import and domestic vehicles ‑‑ cars, vans, crossovers, hybrids, light trucks and sport utilities. You’ll not only see all the newest models, you’ll also be treated to sneak peeks of selected intros, concepts, and the latest in trick
3/28 – The Grand Traverse – Crested Butte – At midnight, skiers depart Crested Butte traversing the Elk mountain Range by twilight, propelling them to a dawn finish in Aspen. Competitors travel 40 miles over the Elk Mountains, climbing over 6,800 vertical feet.
3/29-4/3 – USASA National Championships (Snowboard Week) – Copper Mountain – The United States of America Snowboard and Freeski Association National Championship is the largest snowboard and freeskiing event in the world, welcoming top athletes from around the nation to compete for the title of National Champion. Events take place across seven on-hill venues for over 1,700 athletes.
3/29-4/7 – Longmont Restaurant Week – Longmont – Longmont Restaurant Week is a 10 day event featuring over 40 Longmont restaurants and breweries, during which local restaurants and more offer special menus at the two different price tiers: $18.71 and $28.71.
3/30 – Battle, BeerFest & Bluegrass – Winter Park – Kicking off four weekends of Spring Bash + Splash with the return of the Uphill Battle followed by TheBigWonderful Beerfest and a Bluegrass performance by the 2015 Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition winners, The Lil Smokies!
3/30 – 2nd Annual Poudre Pour – Fort Collins – An afternoon of family fun and learning with tastings from local craft brewers – There will also be non-alcoholic beverages, appetizers, presentations on the many facets of “water issues” in Northern Colorado, interactive youth activities, live entertainment, costumed docents, hands-on activities, a Silent Auction, and more!
4/1-14 – Steamboat Springalicious Festival – Steamboat Springs – Fun events such as the Cardboard Classic—a wild and hilarious race features homemade cardboard crafts racing down Stampede to a hysterical finish—the Splashdown Pond Skim, and several free music concerts.
4/3-6 – Taste of Vail – Vail – Taste of Vail is the nation’s premier spring food and wine festival showcasing the finest chefs in Vail and the nation’s top vintners.
4/7 – 17th Annual Arvada Kite Festival – Arvada – Back for its 17th year, the Arvada Kite Festival is a free, fun event for the entire family with kite flying, kids’ activities, musical entertainment, food, and community vendors. Bring your own kite or purchase one at the festival.
4/12-13 – Estes Park Bigfoot Days – Estes Park – Features activities, events, educational opportunities, and entertainment all dedicated to Big Foot lore. A Big Foot-themed dinner on Friday night, with a talk and Q&A from a world famous Big Foot expert. Saturday, will be a Big Foot 5K run, live bands and entertainment, vendors, food trucks, and much more!
4/12-14 – Durango Bluegrass Meltdown – Durango – Celebrating its 25th year! This year’s lineup includes Junior Sisk and Friends, The Larry Keel Experience, Songs from the Road Band, John Reischman and the Jaybirds, Richie and Rosie, Jeff Scroggins and Colorado, FY5, Steam Machine, Masontown, and many more! 4/13 – 4th Annual DiNK – Denver Independent Comic and Art Expo – Denver – Festival showcasing independent comic books, graphic novels, zines, alternative art forms, and more.
4/25-27 – 49th Annual UNC/Greely Jazz Festival – The largest event of its kind in the nation, the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival brings together internationally recognized artists, jazz lovers, award-winning clinicians, and more than 250 college, high school, and middle school big bands, combos, and jazz vocal groups from across the country.
11/22-4/21 – Hot Cocoa Sleigh Rides – Snow Mtn Ranch, Granby – horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow covered forest with food and hot chocolate. Blankets are provided and they encourage caroling. The winter sleigh rides are offered every day at noon, 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 7 p.m.
